D-Day March 5th Report

What a great time we had at the last D-Day. Alisha once again brought the building to life with beautiful ‘full bloom’ decorations speaking of the theme of the day - Maturity in Battle. Pastor Marjorie Esomowei reminded us that the battle is real and every woman is a minister, called to lead a holy life so people will see our Father.

Throughout the day we heard a variety of testimonies from Deborah’s. We heard how to prepare ourselves for war and become consecrated for God’s work. We were challenged as to what drives us – the weapons we have will not fail us but what about our spirit? And we learnt about the place and power of dance in battle and how God speaks and moves through our bodies and actions.

Compassion Projects
In the evening we were joined by Cherie Colman who founded CHEER, a ministry which works with single parent families. She shared her testimony of God calling her to set up the charity speaking about James 1:27 where we are exhorted to ‘visit, help and care for the widows and orphans’. A compassion offering was received for CHEER which will go towards their work.

Be encouraged! God is raising up and gathering Deborahs all around the world to become a truly united, powerful and great company of women who are bringing breakthrough, and spreading the good news. This is the year to take a quantum leap of faith and break out of old cycles. Our God is a God who is able to move mountains.
